Rose Yeakos Obituary

(a special tribute from her family)

Rose "YaYa" Yeakos

Sunday, July 23, 2023 Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ embraced YaYa releasing her from her earthly bonds and welcomed her home to her Glory.

A Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Niece, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and Best Friend all in one bigger than life person.

YaYa lived her life with Grace, Poise, Dignity and a never ending Love for her Family.

YaYa was a fearless Family Defender and nothing was more important to her than her Family.

She was never too busy, never too far and was always there when needed.

She had the best lap for comfort, the best shoulder to cry on and the best caring arms for support.

Her devotion to Family, her guidance, her forgiving nature, her quick witted humor can be seen in all her family every day.

YaYa always had a smile with a hug and a kiss for all her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

None was more important than the other and they were all her daily source of light and purpose.

Born and raised in New York, eventually moving to Florida with her family YaYa watched her family grow and prosper.

As the years passed her pace slowed but her heart was always full of Love.

YaYa was re-united with her Father, Mother, Grandmother, Husband and Brother whome she loved dearly as well as other family members who preceded her.

She is now waiting to welcome into Heaven and reunite with her Sister Angela, Son Donny with Theresa, Daughter Tina,

Daughter Christine with Donna and Beau, Grandson Christopher (her Patata) and wife Rachel with their children Kaylee,

Jacob and Carter, Granddaughter Nicole (her Dolly) and Husband Alex with their children Noah and Cora,

Sarah and Barry with their children Emory and Gabriel, Ashley and T.J. and their children Brent and Amber, and Special Friend of the Heart Sarah Simmons.

YaYa leaves nobody behind as she took with her a part of all of us who loved her so much.
