Mr. Zachary Miner, age 32 a life long resident of DeFuniak Springs passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 in Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He was born January 24, 1990 in Fort Walton Beach, the son of Jeffery Allen Miner and Kimberly Carol Miner. After completing high school Zach attended FSU, graduating with a degree in civil engineering. He gained federal employment at Hurlburt. All who knew Zach new of his love of sports and that he was a diehard Auburn fan. He was a movie buff and enjoyed sharing movies with his buddies. As with all Millennials Zach was into gaming and quite frankly had achieved almost “champion-like” status. In this life, cut short, Zach touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
Among survivors are his mother , Kimberly Miner, his paternal grandparents, Mack and Nell Baker, his uncles, Kent Baker and Ken Baker and wife Cheryl and his special cousins, Tessa, Ross, Haley, Katie and husband Dan and Julie.
Among those asked to serve as pallbearers are Mike Espesieth, Kent Baker, Rick Jones, Ralph Griner, George Chestnut, Brett Cato and the POTFF Team. A time of visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2022 from 1PM until 2 PM in the chapel of Evans~McDonald Funeral Home with the funeral beginning at 2 P.M. in the funeral home with Reverend George Chestnut officiating.
