WILLIAM LEON LECHIEN

William Lechien, age 73 of DeFuniak Springs passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the home of his daughter in Baker, Florida. He was born June 15, 1944 in Linton, Indiana, the son of Adolph and Lula Jo Shanklin Lechien. After completing his schooling, William joined the United States Air Force where he served his country for some 20 years before retiring as a computer technician.
Among survivors are his sons, Jerry, Brad and wife Katie, daughters Michelle and husband Cory and Lee Ann and husband Andrew. His grandchildren, Danny and wife Maria, Abby and husband Kory, Rhi-Anne, Gabriel and William Robert “Billy Bob”. Her great grandchildren, Antonio and Elena. Numerous nieces and nephews also survived.
