Wendy Ellen Stalloch

Wendy Ellen (Nostrand) Stalloch, 72, passed away in her home on July 13th 2026. She was born on September 4, 1953 in Oceanside on Long Island.  

Wendy was married to her husband Ronald Stalloch for 34 years. In 2017 they retired and moved to DeFuniak Springs, Florida, where they enjoyed the sunshine, warmer weather and their retirement years. Ronald also passed on July 13th in the home.

Wendy began her working career as an aide at Chase Memorial Nursing Home and later continued as a home health aide, where her caring and compassionate nature touched the lives of those she helped. Wendy also worked part time as a Mary Kay consultant helping women to look and feel beautiful. Outside of work, Wendy enjoyed sewing, traveling, and especially cruising. She loved a good party and most of all, cherished spending time with her family.

Wendy is survived by her sisters Terry (Carl) Convis and Elizabeth (Michael) Binelli, two stepchildren Jennifer Lindsey and Steve (Tammy)Stalloch, and three step-grandsons as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Wendy will be remembered for her love of family, her caring heart, her enjoyment of life, and the many happy memories she created with those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will be held on August 29, 2026 from 1 until 4 at the Stalloch family camp on Canadarago Lake.
