Victoria Sword

Victoria Ann Sword passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Panama City, Florida.  She was sixty-five years old.  Born February 17, 1959 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to parents Richard and Betty Maes, Victoria graduated from Belleville High School.  She was an active member of AmVets.

Time with family and friends was very important to Victoria.  She never passed up an opportunity for a get together, and she found great pleasure in sharing her delicious cooking with others.  Time with her grandchildren was a high priority to her, and she enjoyed every minute of it.  Her cat, Tucker, was very special to her as well.  

One of her favorite sayings was “It’s going to be ok”, and she passed that comfort along to all who knew her.  She never let a person leave a room without a smile on their face. 

Victoria is survived by two sons, Eric (Tiffany) Sword and Chris (Barbara) Sword and her sister, Judy (Ed) Ostrowski.  She also leaves behind seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

She is preceded in death by husband Charlie Wright, son Brett Sword, and previous husband Daniel Sword. 

Graveside service in scheduled for Friday, April 12, 2024 at 2:00pm at Cluster Springs Cemetery.
