Susan Blocker

Susan Blocker passed away at home in DeFuniak Springs on March 25, 2024.  She was born in New York City, New York on September 18, 1956, to parents O.C. and Hildegard Blocker.  Susan was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church.

Susan enjoyed watching movies and dining out.  She always looked forward to football season, and she was extra happy when her favorite team, the NY Jets were playing.  Music - especially Elvis Presley, holidays - celebrating with friends and family, and animals - specifically her cat Piwacket, were more of her favorite things. 

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, O.C. and Hildegard, brothers Steve Blocker, Edward Blocker, Frankie Blocker, and a sister, Carolyn Blocker Mallory. 

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Dennis Evans, and by friends who were like family – Thomas Douglass, Jillian Wolfe, Tonia Krauel, Connie Cummings, Mariann Sands, and Kimberly Shannon McLin.
