Mrs. Shirley Mae Adams Davis, age 74 of Ponce deLeon passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in Miramar Beach, Florida. She was born June 5, 1937 in Tallahassee, Florida the daughter of Noah Adams and Ellis Wade Adams. She is predeceased by her mother and father and her daughter, JoAnn Jennings.
Among survivors are her husband, Farrel Davis, Sr. Her children, Bobbie Adkinson, Wiley Eugene Barber, Farrel Davis, Jr. and wife Nancy and Kay McGuffin and husband Wayne. Her grandchildren, Mitchell and wife Kim, Heath and wife Miranda, Lance, Parker, Shelly and Brandy. Her great grandchildren, Desbie, Avril and Grace and her sister, Alice Fay Currington also survives.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2011 in Jerry Evans Chapel with Reverend Elaine Barrow officiating.
