Rosa Bundrick Locke

Mrs. Rosa Beatrice Bundrick Locke, age 92 passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 in Liberty Regional Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1919 the daughter of S.B. and Ella McPherson Bundrick. The Florala, Alabama native had lived in DeFuniak Springs and Glennville, Georgia most of her life. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband George Dewey Locke and a son Thomas D. Locke.

Among survivors are her sons George W. Locke and wife Tammy of Glennville, Georgia. Robert E. Locke and wife Lisa of Lady Lake, Florida, Charles Jeter and wife Myria of Pascagoula. Her daughters, Margaret Butler and husband Bruce of Moselle, Mississippi and Marie E. Duncon and husband Lacy of Ludowici, Georgia. Nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A time of visitation will be Monday, September 12, 2011 from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Brother Jeff Cain officiating. Burial will follow in the Locke Family Plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
