ROBERT M REGISTAR

Mr. Robert M. Registar, age 85 of DeFuniak Springs passed away at his residence Friday evening, February 23, 2018.  He was born November 28, 1932 in Decatur, Illinois.  Robert served his country in the United States Air Force where he served as a medical administrator assistant, retiring after some twenty years of service.  He was an active member of DeFuniak Springs Lodge #170 F&AM until ill health prevented his attendance at meetings.  Robert was elected Member of the Year in 2015 and had received other awards from the lodge because of outstanding service.  He is predeceased by his wife Frances.  Mr. Registar was Roman Catholic by faith.

Among survivors are his sons, Robert Michael Registrar and Gary Lee Registar and his daughter, Lynda Diann Morse.  His granddaughter, Leslie Nichole Roark and great granddaughter Kaydence  and his sister-in-law Shirley Ann Woodward also survive.

A time of visitation will be Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 1 until 2 P.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Masonic Rites beginning at 2 P.M. in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
