NORMAN SCOTT BAILEY

Scott Bailey, age 54, passed away on December 28, 2021. He was born on November 24, 1967, in Birmingham, Alabama, son of Marjean Spivey and his late father, William E. Bailey.  Scott graduated from Huffman High School.  He married the love of his life, Michele (Hughey) Bailey in 1995. They are the parents of 3 beautiful sons, Cole Tanner Bailey (19), Brett Tucker Bailey (16), and Joseph Tate Bailey (15), and reluctant owners of their 3 dogs, Mandy, Duke, and Fox.  Scott loved hunting, fishing, and boating which included trying to sling his children off the inner tube at warp speeds.  He loved football - Roll Tide - and did not love Auburn or LSU in any way, shape, or form.

Scott is survived by his wife and children, his mother, Marjean Spivey; his brother Todd Bailey; sister in law, Denise Bailey; nephew, Tyler Bailey and his wife Allex Bailey; niece, Amanda Bailey; his mother in law, Annette Clemens; father in law, Bob Clemens, and Michele’s aunt and uncle, Paul and Donna Erickson.  He is predeceased by his father, William E. Bailey, and his father-in-law, W.T. Hughey, Jr.

In lieu of flowers to honor Scott, the family is requesting to fund the BAILEY BRIGADE so they can begin to help others through the year 2022.

The family has started the BAILEY BRIGADE raising money to help local families going through terminal illnesses with expenses they cannot afford such as companion or private nursing care, housekeeping, etc.

A time of visitation will be Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2 until 3 P.M. in The Chapel at Crosspoint, 1477 South County Highway 393, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459 with the service beginning at 3:00 P.M. in the church.   Burial will follow in Historic Gulf Cemetery, directly across the street,     Friends and family may go on line to view obituaries, offer condolences and sign the guest register at jerryevansfuneralhome.com
