MILLIE RUTH CONNER COMMANDER

Mrs. Millie Ruth Conner Commander, age 86 of Fort Walton Beach passed away Sunday evening at the family residence.  She was born June 19, 1935  in the Darlington Community, the daughter of Grover Cleveland Conner and Callie Lee Johnson Conner.  Millie is predeceased by her husband Ray Neal Commander and her grandson, Adam.

Among survivors are her children, Debra Sears, Donna Kay Scott and Randal Neal Commander.  Six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Alicia and husband Bobby, Lindsay, Ashley and Jason.  Eight great grandchildren also survive.

Those asked to serve as pallbearers are Clark Norton, Kelly Norton, Eric Walbert, Nick Armstead, Shawn Thompson and Kyle Crimp.  Floral arrangements are being accepted.  A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 11:00 A.M.until Noon in Jerry Evans Chapel with the funeral beginning at Noon with Marilyn Perrine officiating.    Interment will follow in the Commander Family Plot in Darlington Baptist Church Cemetery.
