Michael L. Wyatt - "Mike"

Michael L. Wyatt was born in Rushville, Indiana on March 15, 1963 to parents James Edward Wyatt and Hazel Darlene Tomlin. He graduated from Connersville High School and then began serving in the United States Navy. Mike passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2026.

Mike was a very hard worker, and he had talent in everything he endeavored. During his free time, he enjoyed playing sports in his younger years and landscaping and motorcycle riding were always his favorites. His daughter will treasure the good memories she has of Harley rides with him, and his sister and brother-in-law loved their times playing sports with him over the years. Mike’s fur babies Bonze and Bullet were a real part of his family, too.

Mike is survived by his mother Hazel Darlene Tomlin of Rushville, IN, daughter Natasha Cohen (Ben) of Indianapolis, IN, sisters Melissa Christian (Bruce) of Rushville, IN and Barbara Hargis of Kentucky, and brother Greg Smith (Becky) of Rushville, IN.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Tina Frankin Wyatt, his father James Edward Wyatt, brothers Clifford Wyatt and Richard “Smitty” Smith, grandparents Charley and Helena “Maxine” Wyatt, Chester Tomlin, and Dorothy Richardson.

Telling stories and cracking jokes were parts of every conversation with Mike, and those traits put smiles on the faces of all he interacted with. He was loved by many, and he will be greatly missed.
