Keith Tyrone Weathers was born in San Bernardino, California on July 23, 1956, to loving Mother, Mrs. Eugenie V. Weathers (deceased), and Father, Mr. Clinton Weathers (deceased). Keith was a military dependent. His father, the late Mr. Clinton Weathers, served a 20-year term in the United States Air Force. From kindergarten to the 9th grade, Keith attended various schools in the United States and overseas (Oregon, California, France, the Philippine Islands, and Wisconsin). He attended Walton Senior High School from 1971 until graduating in June of 1974. Keith was a graduate of Florida A& M University. From there he went into the United States Air Force. After his Military career ended, he remained in the state of Virginia. He became an art teacher, and he enjoyed working with children very much. In later years he moved to DeFuniak Springs and then to Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mrs. Eugenie V. Weathers and Mr. Clinton Weathers, Tonya Denise Francis (Niece), and Walter David Campbell (Brother-in-law).
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Steven Terell Reed Sr. of Defuniak Springs, Fl and Keyana Marie Jackson of Tampa, Fl. Sisters: Cheryl Weathers Lewis (Michael), Elder Rhonda Weathers Campbell, DeFuniak Springs, Fl. Brother: Anthony Dwayne Weathers, San Diego, California. Grandchildren: Steven Terell Reed Jr. and Tierra Reed, Crestview, Fl, Kylah Young, A’kyziah Reed, Keylin Reed, and Zoe Reed Defuniak Springs Fl. Great grandchild: Kaiden Washington, Crestview FI. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special Friend: Joe Nelson.
The family is having a CELEBRATION OF LIFE ceremony on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00PM at Evans-McDonald Funeral Home in DeFuniak Springs, FL. There will be a time of visitation from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Evans-McDonald Funeral Home.
