Karlle "Butch" Carroll

Karlle “Butch” Carroll was born April 30, 1957, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Walter and Hildegard Carroll. He passed away on August 21, 2026, in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Butch leaves behind his sons, Karlle Carroll, Jr. (Cheryl) and Lance Carroll; daughter, Sasha Carroll; sister, Linda Graves (Thomas); 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and niece, Nicki Carroll Sparks. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Carroll; mother, Hildegard Carroll; brother, James Carroll; and sister, Shirley Carroll.

Butch enjoyed living simply, and he loved well. He took advantage of every opportunity to spend time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to fish any chance he got and enjoyed collecting knives, a hobby that brought him great enjoyment over the years. He also always had room in his heart to love another animal, especially dogs.

A simple and peaceful graveside gathering will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Glendale Memorial Nature Preserve.
