Helene Brenda Jensen

Helene Brenda Jensen was born in Providence, Rhode Island on July 17, 1939 to parents Thomas Sullivan and Helen Burns. She called Rhode Island home for many years before moving to Florida. She passed away on June 23, 2026.

Brenda was a longtime member of St Margaret Catholic Church in DeFuniak Springs.  She loved being a Catholic and had a sincere devotion to the Blessed Mother. A dedicated prayer warrior, she was also member of the Council of Catholic Women and the Prayer Cenacle.

For many years, Brenda worked for BellSouth and she truly enjoyed her work. When she was not working, she could be found reading a great book and praying for those in need. It was an honor to her to pray for others.

Brenda leaves behind her sister Judy Lanni, sister-in-law Betty Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Paul Sullivan (Betty) and Thomas Sullivan.

She will be remembered as an independent and quiet woman who was very pleasant to others. The world would be a better place if more people lived like Brenda lived.
