HELEN COLLINSWORTH BEDSOLE

Mrs. Helen Bedsole  passed away March 6, 2020  at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born June 27, 1938 in Gaskin, Florida the daughter of Harley Alvin Collinsworth and Esther Lee Wood Collinsworth.  Helen attended elementary school in Gaskin and graduated Walton High School. She worked many years for a men’s clothing store located in Santa Rosa Mall and for several local plumbing businesses. She lived in Choctaw Beach for many years and moved back to Mary Esther, FL.  She predeceased by her husband Paul “Boots” Bedsole and her brother’s Joseph Eugene “Gene” Collinsworth and Harley “Roger “Collinsworth.

Among survivors are her long time companion William “Bill” Frizzell her daughter’s Angela “Angie” Bedsole Scott and husband David, Melanie Bedsole-Beck and wife Cindy. Her grandson’s Jason D. Scott and wife Candice Burke Scott, Derek B. Scott and wife Brittany Sloan Scott. Her grandchildren Lyla, Blaine and Bodie Scott.  Her sister Jo Ann Collinsworth Kolbe and sister in law Jo Ann Collinsworth (Roger) along with many nieces and nephews.

Floral arrangements are being accepted at her home and graveside.  Graveside services will be held Monday, March 9, 2020  at 11:00 A.M.  in the cemetery at her home church Gaskin  First Baptist Church, 107 County Highway 181East, Westville, Florida 32464    A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will take place after the service at Helen’s home at located at 35 Lakeview Dr., Mary Esther, FL 32569 from 3-6 P.M..
