Faye King

Biography Faye Telford King, 75 was born a twin of goodly parents: Emma Elverda Mayfield and John Myron Telford in Vallejo, Ca. She and her eternal companion, James Ernest King Jr. (Jim) resided in Shalimar (Longwood) since 1967. Jim left mom and this earth 22 years ago. Faye graduated from high school age 16. She went to U of U and majored in nursing until a near fatal accident caused her to work as a dispatcher at the Vallejo police department 3 years to pay her bills. She later graduated BYU with a BS in PE, 1956. She traveled to Fairbanks, Alaska on a whim where she met her loving husband and they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and eternity, 1957. She taught PE at the local high schools, including Choctawhatchee HS and Bruner MS for 20 years and was a competitive tennis coach. Upon retirement, she became a successful Mary Kay independent sales director till her death, winning 10 pink cars among other things. She was very involved in the community, cancer society, Bridgeway Crisis Line among other axillaries. Her greatest accomplishments have to do with her church and family. She had a fervent testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Temple worker at the Atlanta Temple for several years and served as Relief Society President, Stake Missionary, Gospel Doctrine Teacher and chorister – always serving in many capacities at the FWB 2nd ward. She is survived by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Daughter Beverlee and husband Rand Mueller with grandchildren Karensa Mueller and Great grandson Jayden , Kevin and Angela Mueller, Erik Mueller with great granddaughter Maleigha and companion Hilary Cartwright and Jason Mueller; Paul and grandchildren Nicole, Tyler and Hunter King; Jon and Companion Maggie Friedlander; Raychelle and David Hardesty and grandchildren Everett, AJ, Alyssa and Mallory Hardesty; and sister Lois Manning. She is preceded in death by her loving husband who has awaited her for 22 years to begin their eternal progression, her twin brother Ray, brother Larry and sister Doris who died as an infant, as well as both parents. In lieu of flowers, please consider Alzheimer’s, Cancer and Heart foundations. A viewing will be held Sunday Jan 11, 5-7 PM and Funeral Mon. 2 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 339 NW Lake Drive, FWB (behind the cemetary) and followed by a grave side service at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
