Charles Andrew "Chuck" Adams

August 6, 1930 — February 9, 2016

Charles A. Adams went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, February 9, at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 6, 1930. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Engineering from Lehigh University where he also played varsity football, baseball and lacrosse and was a proud member of the Chi Psi fraternity. From there he began a 50 year career in the steel industry which included positions in Bethlehem Steel and American Steel Building and then his own company, AMSCO. Charles was a Christ follower who was so thankful for God's work of grace in his life. He was a member of Seagrove Baptist Church where he was very involved in church activities and loved his Sunday School Class. He was devoted to family and cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Charles was deeply loved by his friends and family. He also never met a stranger and was quick to strike up a conversation and make you feel welcome and appreciated.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Teddy Adams; sons, Gregory Charles Adams(Jeannine) and Jeffory Thomas Adams(Mary Ellen); daughters, Kimberley Ann Grenn(Marty) and Kristine Mary Kolsun(Tom); stepdaughter, Shelley Sayre(Dan); grandchildren, Brian Adams(Emily), Matthew Adams(Paige) and Kathryn Crawford(Wes), Kelley and Taylor Grenn, Lisa Adams, Zachary and Jared Kolsun; stepgrandchildren, Spencer, Vincent, Theo, and Meri Jane Sayre; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Grant and Lucy Adams, Saylor, Jane and Charlotte Adams, Charlie Crawford.

His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and especially his wife will miss him, but we all praise God that he is now whole and complete.
