Charlene Lee Bass

Mrs. Charlene Bass, age 80 passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 21, 1934 in Cullman, Alabama the daughter of Clarence Madison Lee and Freida Jessie Schultz Lee. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Wras Lee, Colbert Lee, Onnie J. Lee, Walter D. Lee, Regina Maner and Nazavo “Pete” Milam .

Among survivors are her husband, Milford Bass. Her children, Stanley Bass and wife Paola, Renee Mason and husband Richard, and Tammy King. Her sister, Mary Will Smith, her sisters-in-law, Ludell Lee, Olene Harvey, her brother-in-law John H. Bass. Her grandchildren, Ryan, Robert, Sarah, Daniel and Reese and two great grandchildren, Samatha and James Dylan also survive.

Floral arrangements are being accepted, or memorials may be made in Charlene Bass’s memory to the charity of choice. A time of visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 12:30 until 2 P.M. in First United Methodist Church, 88 Circle Drive, DeFuniak Springs, Florida with the funeral beginning at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jesse Evans, Reverend Dick Brooks and Reverend John D. Reese officiating. Burial will follow in the Bass Family Plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
