Carrie Mae Donald

Mrs. Carrie Mae Fountain Donald, age 80 of DeFuniak Springs passed away at the family residence Monday, December 6, 2010. She was born July 28, 1930 in Red Bay Florida. She attended Tivoli and was a member of the graduating class of 1950. She followed her husband in his career with the United States Air Force and later settled in DeFuniak Springs. She worked for many years with the Walton County Library and had a natural love of reading.

Among survivors are her sons, Kenneth Russell Donald of Callambay, Washington. Reginald “Rocky” Donald and Stanley Donald both of DeFuniak Springs. Her grandchildren, Kenya Donald Johnson and husband Jack and Tanzania Donald-McIntyre. Four great grandchildren,Ian Donald McIntyre, Jalil Reed, Kori Johnson and Jaiden Johnson. A close friend, Carrie Gainer (Jerri Palmore)also survives.

Floral arrangements are being accepted. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Earl Tyler officiating.
