Barbara Jean Arnold Vann

Mrs. Barbara Jean Arnold Vann, age 66 of DeFuniak Springs passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 in Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. She was born April 27, 1949 in DeFuniak Springs, the daughter of Benny Arnold and Lela Rebecca Gressette Arnold.

Among survivors are her husband, Joe Vann. Her children, Frankie Bryan and wife Donna, Josie Billington, Kimberly Thrasher and husband Rob. Her grandchildren, Susannah, Benjamin, Corey, Makenzie, Curtis, Matthew, Katelin, Jessica, Taylor and Ava. Her great grandchildren, Alexander, Lillian and Scarlet. Her brother Benny “Buddy” Arnold and wife Jo and her sister Sue Hultman and husband Jim. A special nephew, Tony Miracle and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorials may be made in Barbara Jean Vann’s memory to favorite charities. Those asked to serve as pallbearers are Tony Miracle, T.J. Vann, Josh Miracle, Benjamin Bryan, Scott Hulion and Kevin Hulion. A time of visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2015 from 10 until 11 A.M. with the service beginning at 11 A.M. in Jerry Evans Chapel with Barbara Jean’s son Frankie Bryan and Barbara Jean’s lifelong friend, Glenda Hulion delivering eulogys. Burial will follow in the Vann family plot in Darlington Cemetery.
