James "Jim" Francis Sandoski

James “Jim” Francis Sandoski passed away on March 24, 2023 following a long decline in health.  He was born in Coatesville, PA on January 17, 1935 to Julius Sandoski and Susan Ann Fesak.

He graduated from Coatsville High School in 1952 and Reading Business School in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1954.  During his lifetime he had the joy of experiencing life in Pennsylvania, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida.

Jim married Shirley Fries Sandoski in 1957.  After his years serving his country in the United States Air Force, he worked for Burroughs Business Machines and Honeywell Missile Systems. Jim loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

He was a member of St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents Julius and Susan Sandoski and by his six siblings.

Jim is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Sandoski, sons Craig Sandoski (Mary Jo) and Chris Sandoski, daughter Cheryl Jones (William), granddaughters Emily Jones (David Saldariagga), Julianna Jones, Alexa Mitchell, and grandson Matthew Jones.

A burial at Barrancas National Cemetery is planned for the future.  The family expresses great appreciation to Hospice for providing compassionate care.
